In the year 1987 sri G. S. Ramchandra Bhat from a small village near a small town called JAYAPURA near SRINGERI originated to Bangalore and was a chef for many hotels then became a cooking contractor later realising the demand created his own homemade holiges. He use to prepare only in the times of festivals later thought of opening a homemade industry and in the decades it has been grown into a small scale industry.
